Editing is storytelling. And storytelling is what connects the worlds of film, marketing, and social media. My passion is helping people tell their stories.

My storytelling within the world of film includes documentaries, short films, and film trailers. A recent documentary I edited told the emotional story of an optimistic and charismatic WWII D-Day survivor. The film won Best Documentary at the Northeast Film Festival and won awards at the Jersey Shore, New York Long Island, and Veterans Film Festivals. It was later featured in several museums, newspapers, schools, and libraries. For the captivating fantasy-drama Spirit Hand, a film I directed and edited, I was honored to receive awards for Best Editing, Best Short Film, and Best Writing in both U.S and global film festivals.

In the marketing world, as a professional storyteller and editor I collaborate with film producers, ad agencies, and YouTube content creators to highlight brand messages across social media platforms and create impactful marketing videos. One of those videos I created was for the 369th: Together, We Rose project where I worked closely with the project’s director and producers to tell the story of an all-black regiment during WWII. We created a one-minute trailer that contributed to the project winning a $10,000 production grant. Other recent marketing stories include editing long-form podcast episodes and short-form social media content for the YouTube channel Beyond the Chatter, and creating a motion graphics-heavy highlight reel for the ad agency, Amsterland.

My love of storytelling has developed out of a variety of creative mediums, including books, film, TV, graphic novels, and videogames. Outside of editing, I enjoy watching horror and fantasy films, traveling with friends and family, and learning to cook.
